We offer a free 30-minute live demo where you see the complete system — kiosk, KDS, and dashboard — in action. After the demo, getting started requires the $500 setup fee and first subscription payment. No trial period, but you can cancel monthly with no penalty.

The setup fee covers: (1) full system configuration tailored to your business, (2) loading your complete menu into the kiosk, (3) tablet setup and app installation, (4) a staff training session so your team knows how to use the admin dashboard and KDS. For Greater Boston locations, on-site setup visit is included. Remote setup available anywhere.

Yes. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at the end of any billing period — no penalties, no questions asked. Annual subscriptions may receive a prorated refund if cancelled within the first 30 days and the system hasn't gone live yet. After 30 days, the annual fee is non-refundable but you keep access until the end of the year.

Custom projects (web development, mobile apps, dashboards, etc.) are quoted based on your specific requirements — features, complexity, integrations, and timeline. We always send a detailed breakdown before work begins, so you know exactly what you're paying for. There are no hourly surprise charges.

No — Stripe's processing fees (typically 2.7% + $0.05 for card present transactions) are paid directly to Stripe by your business. Thimi adds zero transaction fees on top of that. The $99/month is purely a software subscription with no per-transaction markup from us.

Each location is a separate $99/month subscription with a $500 setup fee per location. Discounts are available for multi-location deployments — contact us to discuss a bundle price for 2+ locations.
